Country Gift Store

Please feel free to browse but it will be hard to resist the delicious assortment of honey, maple syrup, jams, jellies, apple butter, fresh apples or strawberries, cider, a selection of baked or frozen pies and more! The flavour is yours to choose; however, we are famous for our succulent Caramel Apple Pie. The gift store also features Halloween and seasonal fall decorations and supplies.

Many different flavours of Fudge are available during strawberry season and again beginning in late August!

Family Activities

If you want activity for those summer and autumn weekend days then bring the children and visit the orchard store, pick apples, or pumpkins, go for a walk in the orchard or woods, play in the Family Activity Area, enjoy the duck races, use the canteen facilities, go for an orchard and woods wagon ride or a cow train ride while everyone can enjoy their snacks on our patio eating area. (There are admission charges for individual activities or you can buy a day pass.)

For weekend visitors, who want to use our much larger Family Activity Area, Cannamore Orchard offers family activities for the young and the young at heart! Here you can travel through our Dark Maze (bring your flashlight!), visit the animal corral, try the finger mazes, the pipe maze, the left turn only outdoor maze, the many play structures or be challenged on the patio stone mazes. As a family you can compete against each other using the duck races or in our rope maze or challenge one another using our life-size checkers and rainbow maze. You can relax by the pond while listening to the sounds of water cascading down the waterfall. A patio and picnic area, complete with a canteen, is available for your use and enjoyment during summer and fall weekend afternoons.

There are admission charges for individual activities or you can buy a day pass for everything which includes: Family Activity Area, Wagon Ride, Cow Train Ride, Duck Races, and Museum.

Children that are 2 years old and under are FREE

Family Activity Area (Included are picnic grounds, Dark Maze, patio stone mazes, finger mazes, pipe and rope maze as well as play structures, sandbox, toys, and animal corral.)	$3.00 (Unlimited 1 day entrances.)

Tractor pulled wagon ride. (Weather permitting.)	$2.00 (One ride per person.)

Cow Train Barrel Ride (Weather permitting.)	$2.00 (One ride per person.)

Duck Racing	$2.00 (Unlimited 1 day use.)

Museum Entrance	$1.00

Total cost	$10.00

All inclusive day pass for 1 person	$7.00

Family of 4 all inclusive day pass	$25.00

Please note that all events related to the Spooky Wagon Ride^TM are not included in any of the tickets or day passes for Activity Admission Prices.

The Spooky Wagon Ride^TM

Cannamore Orchard is home to the renowned Spooky Wagon RideTM, Eastern Ontario's scariest Halloween Ride! 2008 celebrates the 16th anniversary of Cannamore Orchard's Spooky Wagon RideTM, only a short thirty minutes southeast of Ottawa. Children and families are thrilled to visit in October as the Orchard is transformed into a 'scary' place to be.

Admission to the Spooky Wagon Ride^TM includes a ride through the orchard and surrounding woods. Still not scared? Visit the Spooky Village, the only one in North America, take in the new renovated and terrifying Fog Maze, the House of Terror and the Dark Maze. Our famous Kid's Spooky House is a delight to the young and was more than doubled in size in 2006 to add more excitement. Our special family days on Sunday make for affordable family entertainment and we have added game activities on Sundays in the village. It's all included!!

Please Note:
The Spooky Wagon Ride^TM is definitely recommended for older children and adults. For younger children the Ride can sometimes be too scary, thus the parents must decide how brave the family can be. For those concerned that the Ride might be too much, there is always the option of exploring the Spooky Village, the expanded Kid's Spooky House and related Spooky activities.

Tours

Cannamore Orchard offers tours to preschoolers, nursery schools, home schools, school groups, senior groups, community centres, and others. We have strawberry, apple and pumpkin tours but can arrange a special tour to suit your needs. If your group is interested in a tour, you can find more info under Tours, using the menu bar to the left. Tours are Monday to Friday, and can be given in either French or English.

All tours require a reservation and are subject to a $65.00 minimum fee. Phone 613-448-3633 to book your tour. All tours must be pre-booked. Phone early before all tour dates are taken.

Team Building

If your group or organization would like to spend a relaxing day in the country, tour the orchard, and engage in activities to help build stronger bonds between your members, then come to the orchard.
